A great place to practice for beginner's and most greens are good the fairways are looking hairy at the moment they are normally better than they were today The practice green is not in the best condition would help if it was as good as the course greens still a good course to play would recommend it to anyone
Really reasonably priced public golf course. Probably not for the purists, but ideal for a casual round. Pretty difficult for total beginners as narrow fairways!
Sham Castle, Golf Course Rd, Bath BA2 6JG, UK – 01225 463834
Great golf course and club house, will be going back to play it again soon. (Give Star course.)
Course in very good condition. Great beers and ciders in the bar too.

Came here on a ten year graduation reunion. Lay back and star gazed for hours enjoying the view and the peace and quiet just like we used to when we were students, was still clean and open and easy to access (as long as you know where you're going). If you're going at night take a torch to get through the gates
Nice views from Sham Castle - the actual castle is in ruins but if you enjoy golf; there is a good golf course here.
Englishcombe Court, Englishcombe Ln, Bath BA2 2EJ, UK – 01225 330001
Great facilities and it's spacious. The warm pool with large surrounding windows makes you feel like you're outdoors.
This is an amazing resource for families, people wanting to get fit, and serious gymnasts. It is a real hidden gem tucked away in a grassy patch on the outskirts of the city.

It may be a bit on the expensive side, but it's worth it. The gym is never too busy and the equipment is good. The classes are also really good, namely the FGT Core, and the swimming pool, sauna and steam room are amazing. A great gym to start the day or end it. The staff are also lovely.
Nice gym, is a bit busy but can make it work if flexible with times. Staff friendly. *update* leaving the gym as very unorganised and better options around
Cambridge House, 1-4 Henry St, Bath BA1 1JT, UK – 01225 587247
Great gym, clean, not too busy, got everything I need and the staff are awesome.
Good gym with decent facilities and friendly staff. Costs on the higher side
N Parade Rd, Bath BA2 4ET, UK – 01225 486905
Great improvements made to the aged swimming pool and a new training/learner pool added. It all looks very good and clean with great changing facilities including family and group changing rooms and three accessible changing rooms which are well equipped and a real bonus on Thursday which is when they heat up the water for the over 50's and disabled. As it's newly opened this week there are a few things that need to be finished and the main one is the lift. Wheelchair users can only gain access via the main road entrance or the ramp to the bowling alley (another fantastic new addition) which is where the cafe is now situated. Fitness and fun for the whole family 👪 all in one place
Fantastic value; good staff; good equipment; open when I need it to be open. Only given four stars because the upgraded swimming pool in Bath isn't available yet. I would fully expect to give a 5/5 when it is completed.

Combe Hay Ln, Bath BA2 8PA, UK – 01225 832491
A good social club with a reasonable selection of alcoholic beverages at affordable prices, live music on some Saturday nights, also has a skittle alley, pool table, and they are the home of the Bath Darts team. They also have a Gribbidge nights for those who like playing cards.
Just a drive by on way home from cribs, nice open spaces pleasant ground well kept.

Bath City us a community owned football club. It is a great place to watch non-league football. It is a friendly club with a bar that serves real ale on matchdays. It is available to hire for functions and wedding receptions.
Old and tired looking football ground from yesteryear left behind from the big money club's with their super stadiums. Coming to twerton park is a blast from the past and should be kept as a historical land mark and a reminder of how basic life was in the 50's through to the millennium. As a working soccer club though, Bath fc's day's are numbered!!!
