This is the most amazing treasure trove of top quality antiques. They specialize in silver and there is silver in abundance but there are also many interesting items such as a beautifully refinished ejector seat from an older bomber to a gorgeous telescope to smaller gift possibilities. The owners are clearly very knowledgeable about their field and every piece seems to have a great story behind it. If you're visiting Bath you should definitely stop by and experience the best antique shop Bath has to offer!

So it took me almost 10 years to finally find that RIGHT ONE hairdresser. Went to see Ben today and his approach, professionalism and personality are totally amazing. He loves his work and indeed very good in what he is doing. I have a bob and it's so hard to find the person who is not afraid to offer something different and challenge :) absolutely brilliant job he did today with my hair and styling - came out from the salon completely different person. Excellent service here. I've been to a few nail salons to have my acrylic nails done and this is by far the best one I've been to. They took their time to ensure that my nails were perfect (approx 1hour for gel infills) and the staff were really accomodating. I asked for a marble nail design and although they were unsure how to do it they took time to work it out to give me the design I asked for. They also have a loyalty system in place where it you have 5 treatments/services done you get 20% off your next one. Which is perfect for students.

I would highly recommend this salon. I walked in today and it was one of the best hair cuts I've had! All the staff were helpful and friendly and I had a lovely latte too! I can't remember the stylist name but he was first class. I will definitely be going back.

After moving area I found myself in need of a new stylist and salon which quite honestly filled me with dread. After a recommendation from a friend I decided to give FLS Hair & Beauty a try and I have never looked back. From the moment I stepped through the door of my first appointment I was put at ease with friendly professional staff who were happy to take the time to talk. Nothing was too much trouble and Amie handled me well as i was nervous and very particular having had the same hair dresser for over 10 years. Once finished I truly looked and felt a million dollars. Since my first visit to FLS I have now been a further 3 times and can honestly say I have found my new forever salon. Im looking forward to my next visit to this little gem and would recommend without hesitation.

Toppings is honestly such a beautiful bookshop and very local to me. The staff are always friendly and are on hand to help. It is books galore, plenty of incredible signed editions of new releases to explore. All customers get offered free tea or coffee during browsing, adding to the experience. I never feel nervous when I visit. I love the variety of books on offer. I personally prefer the classics and fantasy sections. Whenever I need to get a birthday present for a family member or friend, I always pop in and either purchase a book or a gift token. A must-see for book lovers and the curious!

Love this bookshop. There are very few bookshops with this atmosphere still around nowadays. Love how everything is packed in. At every turn there's mountains of books to see. You can find a quiet corner somewhere and have a cup of tea brought to you whilst you find something interesting to peruse. A super quiet and relaxed place to be! A trip to Bath never feels complete without going there.

I love this bookshop, lovely selection of books on offer as well as postcards and books published by local authors or set in local places near to Bath. It is a small shop but quite cosy. Can easily ask the booksellers (Harry and Philip) to order a book from their suppliers which take a day or two to arrive All on one level, easy access and parking on the street outside is available. Can also be reached by the number 1 bus (Southdown) or the number 8 bus (Kingsway). The railway station at Oldfield Park is nearby.

Good and very large book store over many levels. If they don't have what you are looking for I am sure they could find it. The children's area is good with toys, dressing up, games, and seating to read with your child. Waterstones is a good book shop with something for everyone.

Beautiful store inside. Its a bookworms heaven. Has an upstairs. Layout is odd but works. Staff are extremely helpful. The books are beautifully arranged and easy to find which genre etc. Children section is great for the little ones to relax and chill while the adults can find what they want. Wheelchair access. Lift to go upstairs.

As an Independent Mercedes-Benz dealer, we were looking for an audio specialist to assist with some more tricky audio repairs with some older cars and were recommended to use Maple Audio. On the two occasions we have used them so far, they have been excellent. All repairs carried out to our satisfaction and a fair price charged. Without hesitation, we would recommend them.

I was trying to find distilled water for a CPAP machine and I spoke to a very helpful person. He took the trouble to go and find a bottle of deionised water and, after talking it through with me, decided that it would indeed be suitable for my machine. Thank you so much - I'm only sorry I can't remember his name. I would have liked to have given him the kudos!

Update on previous review: A Mr Dave Heron contacted me to resolve the issue and ordered me a new owners manual. The manual has arrived at my address as promised. Thank you for sorting this matter out efficiently and effectively. Unfortunately after a smooth purchasing process I have phoned several times to get my owners manual for the vehicle. It is 3 months since I purchased the vehicle and despite all the promises, no manual has arrived. I almost purchased the insurance plan for the vehicle at the time purchase, so glad I didn't as this appears to be another dealership full of style but no substance.

Average experience. Took over an hour to be seen to after my appointment time as car (used) was not ready. Was looking at a plug-in hybrid and it barely had a mile of charge on it to test out. On the plus side, reception staff very friendly and sales guy straightforward, not too pushy, and up front in offering a good market price for my part exchange. He was also quite helpful in digging out service history since it's all online instead of in a service book. Decided not to buy here in the end as found my preferred model elsewhere, but probably worth a shot (but also check some other dealerships) if you are in the market for a used vehicle.

Good range of clothes, books and entertainment available. The shop layout does make me feel a little clumped as sale racks and displays are quite close together. There is a ramp which is easy access for those in a wheelchair or pushchairs.

I have shopped at Blue for as long as I can remember. It is not just a clothing store but an art gallery of quirky, unusual clothes that has helped me express the person I am. It is a contemporary space which allows freedom to browse easily. The staff are always unbelievably helpful and know exactly when to help and when to leave you to soak up the wonderful clothes. If you visit Bath it would be a crime if you did not visit 'The Loft'. The coffee is the best in town and the furniture matches the clothes in its taste. Suzanne and Chloe keep searching the fashion world for the art of fashion. 'We are what we wear but we become what we wear'....your clothes excite me and I adore wearing them, thank you.

Was a student here for four years. Managed to successfully complete an Access Course this year, with a place at University achieved. Throughout my time as a student here, the support could have been better. Communication at times was a struggle, but I did like some of the opportunities that I experienced through being a student. These included volunteering, being part of a national business finals and travelling off site to Bristol Zoo. I liked the library resources, sometimes the College Moodle wouldn't load well on my mobile devices. The Internet at times was also a little dodgy. Easy to get to by bus or train.

Did an Access course here and thoughoroly enjoyed it, helped me progress onto University.

Great place to visit and learn. Free guided tour every hour and an audio tour while walking round. This place is very educational and reasonable in price if booking package deals on the visit bath website which includes afternoon tea, tickets to the bath and various other things depending on the package chosen.

Have visited the Roman Baths at Trier and in Bath. Found the one in Bath to be well worth the cost of admission and utterly absorbing, for 2-3 hours worth. They did a nice job of explaining a lot about life during the Roman era and its ties to the local religions and people during that era. This audio guide and placards at this site went out of their way to provide A real view into what their lives were like and quite a depth of information on the history of the site.

Recently had a problem with the shifter on my MTB, he sourced a replacement at the same price as online, was delivered the next day + fitted and re-indexed the brakes for an extremely reasonable price. Incredible experience . I brought my bike in to fix the gears and a buckled wheel. I also left my wife’s bike while we waited. Jake not only fixed my bike, but also noticed other faults that needed fixing (we recently shipped our bikes from the US), but he also checked through my wife’s bike, tightening the steering column etc. - all at no extra cost. I could not recommend Jake and everyone at Julian House high enough.

We always use this store when we have an electrical fault - especially with vacuums and appliances. Prices are good and the gentleman is quick and always sticks to his time-frames which is great for our business.

Once again excellent service received from these guys. It is great to be able to use local, independent and professional services and I would thoroughly recommend Bath electrical services. Over 15 years they have never failed to deliver on their promises, there is always someone to talk to with knowledgeable advice and a willingness to help, a rare find these days.

Excellent, well-informed advice on the 'phone about our preferred model of cooker (double oven with induction hob). In the shop, time willingly given to show us the model, talk through its workings, reserve it until required and arrange future delivery. A superb, good-humoured shopping experience.

Having now bought an American freezer, built in double oven and coffee maker from them, we have found the knowledge of the staff to be first class, they are helpful and courteous at all times and the fitters prompt and efficient.

Glad I found this place and had breakfast here instead of the overpriced cafe up the road. Good food, freshly made. Friendly service without the over-familiarity found in certain chains. My coffee was well-made, not burnt or drowned in milk. The ham in the ham and cheese croissant was delicious - flakey, light, slightly smokey and satisfyingly salty against the creaminess of the cheese. The croissant seemed homemade, perfect lamination and flakiness. Just typing this is making me want another one!

This shop provides natural, eco-friendly resources for a healthier lifestyle and is stocked with comprehensive and thoughtful choices. Overall I find them to be less focussed on health food and more on good-quality essentials, when compared to local competitors. Browsing the shelves here I feel that the price for natural solutions is not lavender-tinged B.O. by afternoon (I've tried my fair share of "natural, aluminium-free" deodorants!) and inevitable, impending veganism. The ladies running Seasons are always willing to answer any questions and take quite a no-nonsense approach to finding the product that fits your need best - not just the one with the hype, the hefty price tag or a thousand and one health benefits more than you asked for! It has become my monthly stop for several excellent products that I can't find elsewhere in Bath.

Lady at the deli counter not bothering to respond to a simple 'hello'...also how about some smiles, please!...customer service could be better.

Amazing place, with all sorts of things tucked into the corners. We were after very specific flour (barley flour and maize flour), and there they were, along with a cornucopia of other things. Mildly disorganized, in parts, but staff friendly and very helpful.

I came to the Grape Tree for the first time on Monday after a disastrous trip to Sainsbury’s, where I could not find any raw health organic ACV infusion turmeric and ginger vinegar, and after a emergency internet search to find my nearest organic shop I was surprised to find one right in the heart of the historical city of Bath. (I am from London where there is a few health shops here and there.. I was not expecting such shops in bath..) Not only did I find my vinegar, I found a huge selection of healthy, organic and authentic ingredients that I stocked up on, including a range of my absolute favourite snacks by Zoot. I also stocked up on some must-buy vegan goodies, my hubby is a vegan, as am I on weeknights, and the vegan sweet selection was a nice touch for my basket. Aside from the wonders I found food-wise, the shop was absolutely lovely. It was incredibly clean and tidy. I can not fault anything about the choice of food and the shop as a whole.. next time I am in Bath I will return..

I am a regular visitor to the garden centre, and I have to say it's a great place. The plant section, pet section, books and card section and the cafe are all excellent,with great choices and knowledgeable, friendly staff. I recommend a visit soon if not before...

Excellent place for greeting cards! There's also a small "home cooked" frozen food section - can't think of the name but it's quite posh and the 3mushroom lasagne is very nice! A couple of other veggie things too. I like it.! And I understand it sells garden stuff as well!

I visited pandora on the 3rd July, I wanted to treat myself for my 22nd birthday. Alexandra served me, she was absolutely fantastic. I wasn’t going to write this review but with the outstanding service I received, I had to bring it to everyone’s attention! what a fantastic, smart, professional and a credit Alexandra is to not just the Bath store but to Pandora over all. As a former pandora employee, I know the Pandora way of selling & Alexandra went above and beyond. I called up a few days ago asking if she had Found my bracelet (as I missed placed it) she went out of her way to search the store and asking other staff members if they had seen it or had it handed in! she even pointed me in the direct of anyone and everywhere that could help me! She even apologised for the situation I was in! What a lovely lady! I thankfully found it at home (🙈) !!! Silly!! Thank you very much Alexandra, you’re fab!!! Keep working hard!! :)))

Bought a Longines watch today from Emma who was great in dealing with us very patient must of had a dozen watches out to look at in one go, she was very professional between herself and the other chap in the store were very knowledgable and nothing was to much trouble, once decided upon watch to buy they then sized it taking links out and putting back in to get the perfect fit don’t like my watches to tight or to loose yet they done this happily Would highly recommend and would go back 👍

Had a great experience in the Bath store, staff were excellent. Frank was very helpful and had very good knowledge of diamonds. As we could not find what we wanted he suggested having a look at some diamonds and having a ring made. We are now waiting for the ring to arrive and are very excited. I would recommend them and I will be using them again.

I was on the lookout for new walking boots and had amazing help from Ben. He was knowledgeable on the different types of boots available and provided his opinions but never pressured me to go with any particular brand or style. He made a task that I wasn't particularly looking forward to a fun experience and I'm happy with my new purchase. If you're on the lookout for a pair of boots I would have no hesitation in recommending Ben to help you!

Excellent sales advice and support for buying a new pair of running shoes Compared to another well known running shoe shop who failed spectacularly to help with a problem, so my custom went else where. The young lady who helped me took her time, offered advice and above all else was honest when she didn't have an answer: Fantastic new pair of shoes so will return with the family as and when. As a local, I felt valued as a customer which is something lacking from another shop not so far away. Thank you John Moore sport.

Good sports shop, great variety of sports accounted for. Only issue I’ve had in the past is missing stock, but as a hockey placer it’s nice to see a good variety of hockey equipment stocked.

Over the years I have purchased several items from the Running shop and they have always been very helpful. The shop is well laid out, the staff very friendly and knowledgeable. It is easy to buy stuff off of the internet these days but nothing beats dealing with people face to face and I would highly recommend the Running Shop Bath and it’s team. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A stunning independent stationery shop. It always just FEELS better buying stationery from here than other shops or chains.

I would agree in part with the other reviewer that says they are high on price.....BUT! I've found the customer service outstanding, and they always seem to have what you want or get it for the next day. If price floats and you can wait 3-5 days, order stuff from online stationers. If you want great customer service and instant use, then use these people. Called for 1 white chinagraph. They didn't have it in the shop so checked the warehouse and hey presto they had 2. Ordered 2 white and 1 black in the end. I could only order packs of 12 online, but just wanted 1. So overall net saving here of over £7.50.

Good service. Very required ad IT systems seriously poor. It took 4 assistants to sorry us out. They all tried hard and we got there. We were swapping a poor iron on instant replacement and buying a Dyson cool fan.

Very well looked after by all that have served me at the bath depot! Always feel welcome in this store and always get the help needed with all products from laptop and printer to toaster and mobile phones. Nice one

Got served immediately after showing my reference number from a different website. It's convenient to choose Argos as the pickup point. My order was brought to the counter in a matter of minutes and I was on my way home.

Sandra is amazing to work with. Her cakes taste incredible, but she also really listened to what we wanted. We spoke to a couple of people as we wanted a rustic, wonky cake with soft sponges, like red velvet - we were told it was not possible and had people try and persuade us to do something different. Sandra took on the challenge, even though it was something she hadn't tried before, and delivered a perfect cake that actually stood up in 27 degree heat! Could not rate her highly enough, a true confectionary artist and so lovely to work with.

I have had a wedding cake and a christening cake made by Sandra and both have been stunning creations. Both beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. She delivers on every level. Her standard of work is impeccable.

We are so glad that Strawberry Fields were our caterers for our wedding day! The food was delicious and so beautifully presented that we're still hearing about it from friends and family. Amber, our front of house manager is phenomenal. There was nothing she couldn't handle and never broke a sweat and the team were always very accommodating. Having never had a wedding before, I was totally unaware about how quickly the day would run away with us. Amber was there every step of the way to make sure everything went to plan and would discreetly pop up to let us know what was next on the agenda. It was honestly the most perfect day and Strawberry Fields was a large part of that - so our sincerest thanks goes out to each and every one of the catering team who played their part in making our day so memorable, we really couldn't have asked for more! Wonderful service from start to finish. Gary and his team served a perfect beef wellington to over 130 guests on the hottest day of the year! There were empty plates all around and no end of complements from the guests. I would recommend in a heart beat, money well spent!!

Remember Oddbins of old? Where they'd have staff who really knew their wine, the origins and how they compliment flavours? I do and Great Western Wine nail this in spades. Don't know if I got lucky with a particular staff member but his advice was spot on and certainly hit the mark. Would I shop here again? Oh God yes, been back several times since.....same guy still there, wouldn't go anywhere else now.

Great shop and really helpful staff. I would recommend so much that I have planned a visit with friends from out of town. Its in a bad location for advertising, but that will not put you off when you go there.

Excellent range of different cheese, both local and from abroad. The staff are patient and knowledgeable, offering small samples of each cheese to aid you in your choice. The quality of the cheese is excellent, we practically polished off the Stinking Bishop we bought in one sitting. Will definitely be back

Absolutely fantastic. I ordered a "create your own port and stilton" package for Father's Day (from overseas) and Dad was blown away. He's sent me a photo and it's a HUGE bit of Colston Basset with a really good port and awesome biscuits and chutney. The price was incredible for what he received - and the service and delivery was brilliant. Thank you!
