A bit off the beaten track this venue Offers a wide variety of antiques be it silver, first addition books, Porcelain Netsuke, Prints ect on three levels, It's well worth a visit It also offers modern reproductions from the 1930s onwards eg Netsuke, Prints Toys.
Great shops with wide range of antiquities from different eras. Closed Sundays
31 Brock St, Bath BA1 2LN, UK – 01225 334234
This is the most amazing treasure trove of top quality antiques. They specialize in silver and there is silver in abundance but there are also many interesting items such as a beautifully refinished ejector seat from an older bomber to a gorgeous telescope to smaller gift possibilities. The owners are clearly very knowledgeable about their field and every piece seems to have a great story behind it. If you're visiting Bath you should definitely stop by and experience the best antique shop Bath has to offer!
lovely interesting shop

So it took me almost 10 years to finally find that RIGHT ONE hairdresser. Went to see Ben today and his approach, professionalism and personality are totally amazing. He loves his work and indeed very good in what he is doing. I have a bob and it's so hard to find the person who is not afraid to offer something different and challenge :) absolutely brilliant job he did today with my hair and styling - came out from the salon completely different person. Thank you, Ben and see you soon :)
It was my first visit to Melanie Giles and I love love love my new hair cut. Massive thank you to Jack who took so much care over cutting my hair. I will definitely be back 😊

Great when I booked and got my nails done, they lasted a long time and looked amazing the entire time. Love the colour choices and will be returning again.
Excellent service here. I've been to a few nail salons to have my acrylic nails done and this is by far the best one I've been to. They took their time to ensure that my nails were perfect (approx 1hour for gel infills) and the staff were really accomodating. I asked for a marble nail design and although they were unsure how to do it they took time to work it out to give me the design I asked for. They also have a loyalty system in place where it you have 5 treatments/services done you get 20% off your next one. Which is perfect for students.
4-5 Monmouth St, Bath BA1 2AJ, UK – 01225 478478
I would highly recommend this salon. I walked in today and it was one of the best hair cuts I've had! All the staff were helpful and friendly and I had a lovely latte too! I can't remember the stylist name but he was first class. I will definitely be going back.
After moving area I found myself in need of a new stylist and salon which quite honestly filled me with dread. After a recommendation from a friend I decided to give FLS Hair & Beauty a try and I have never looked back. From the moment I stepped through the door of my first appointment I was put at ease with friendly professional staff who were happy to take the time to talk. Nothing was too much trouble and Amie handled me well as i was nervous and very particular having had the same hair dresser for over 10 years. Once finished I truly looked and felt a million dollars. Since my first visit to FLS I have now been a further 3 times and can honestly say I have found my new forever salon. Im looking forward to my next visit to this little gem and would recommend without hesitation.
The Paragon, Bath BA1 5LS, UK – 01225 428111
Toppings is honestly such a beautiful bookshop and very local to me. The staff are always friendly and are on hand to help. It is books galore, plenty of incredible signed editions of new releases to explore. All customers get offered free tea or coffee during browsing, adding to the experience. I never feel nervous when I visit. I love the variety of books on offer. I personally prefer the classics and fantasy sections. Whenever I need to get a birthday present for a family member or friend, I always pop in and either purchase a book or a gift token. A must-see for book lovers and the curious!
Love this bookshop. There are very few bookshops with this atmosphere still around nowadays. Love how everything is packed in. At every turn there's mountains of books to see. You can find a quiet corner somewhere and have a cup of tea brought to you whilst you find something interesting to peruse. A super quiet and relaxed place to be! A trip to Bath never feels complete without going there.
43 Moorland Rd, Bath BA2 3PN, UK – 01225 427722
Helpful and friendly staff, and a great selection of books. I love to have a chat about what I should read next whenever I visit. Always happy to support this wonderful local business!
I love this bookshop, lovely selection of books on offer as well as postcards and books published by local authors or set in local places near to Bath. It is a small shop but quite cosy. Can easily ask the booksellers (Harry and Philip) to order a book from their suppliers which take a day or two to arrive All on one level, easy access and parking on the street outside is available. Can also be reached by the number 1 bus (Southdown) or the number 8 bus (Kingsway). The railway station at Oldfield Park is nearby.
4-5 Milsom St, Bath BA1 1DA, UK – 01225 448515
Good and very large book store over many levels. If they don't have what you are looking for I am sure they could find it. The children's area is good with toys, dressing up, games, and seating to read with your child. Waterstones is a good book shop with something for everyone.
Beautiful store inside. Its a bookworms heaven. Has an upstairs. Layout is odd but works. Staff are extremely helpful. The books are beautifully arranged and easy to find which genre etc. Children section is great for the little ones to relax and chill while the adults can find what they want. Wheelchair access. Lift to go upstairs.

As an Independent Mercedes-Benz dealer, we were looking for an audio specialist to assist with some more tricky audio repairs with some older cars and were recommended to use Maple Audio. On the two occasions we have used them so far, they have been excellent. All repairs carried out to our satisfaction and a fair price charged. Without hesitation, we would recommend them.
what a team mended my mercedes s class 2008 cd changer would recommend them to any one wanting a radio/cd player repaired and definetly not dear 10 out of 10

I was trying to find distilled water for a CPAP machine and I spoke to a very helpful person. He took the trouble to go and find a bottle of deionised water and, after talking it through with me, decided that it would indeed be suitable for my machine. Thank you so much - I'm only sorry I can't remember his name. I would have liked to have given him the kudos!
Very helpful staff, had no issue with replacing a bike lock that had rusted within its 5-year guarantee. Provide a great range of components for all types of bikes.

Newbridge Rd, Bath BA1 2PP, UK – 01225 312774
Update on previous review: A Mr Dave Heron contacted me to resolve the issue and ordered me a new owners manual. The manual has arrived at my address as promised. Thank you for sorting this matter out efficiently and effectively. Unfortunately after a smooth purchasing process I have phoned several times to get my owners manual for the vehicle. It is 3 months since I purchased the vehicle and despite all the promises, no manual has arrived. I almost purchased the insurance plan for the vehicle at the time purchase, so glad I didn't as this appears to be another dealership full of style but no substance.
Excellent service. Professional friendly knowledgeable staff.
Locksbrook Rd, Bath BA1 3EU, UK – 01225 428000
Average experience. Took over an hour to be seen to after my appointment time as car (used) was not ready. Was looking at a plug-in hybrid and it barely had a mile of charge on it to test out. On the plus side, reception staff very friendly and sales guy straightforward, not too pushy, and up front in offering a good market price for my part exchange. He was also quite helpful in digging out service history since it's all online instead of in a service book. Decided not to buy here in the end as found my preferred model elsewhere, but probably worth a shot (but also check some other dealerships) if you are in the market for a used vehicle.
My wife picked up her new Polo today, great service from start to finish from Steve Faggatter, no pressure to buy, clear and knowledgeable about different options - a refreshing car buying experience for the better!
Lower Bristol Rd, Bath BA2 3BA, UK – 01225 319274
Annoying to pay by card, keep asking you for a donation before you pay for the fuel. Put you in an unpleasant situation. The place is ok.
A handy 24/7 garage just outside the centre of Bath. A good number of pumps with plenty of space on the forecourt and also has a car wash. The shop has the usual staple items.
100 Midford Rd, Bath BA2 5RU, UK – 07834 905292
Brilliant place. Exactly what you need in 1 place.
One of the few fuel stops in Bath, but as it's a Tesco's Express, the site is simply too small and in a horrible place on a twin roundabout
13 Victoria Bridge Rd, Bath BA2 3EH, UK – 01225 464316
Well..it is a petrol station that sells fuel! Howevet, it is often the most affordable and cheapest fuel for quite a few miles. You can also collect or redeem your nectar points when buying fuel. Its a good way to fill the tank.
Petrol station located at a convenient place next to homebase, and the main sainsbury's supermarket, usually the best priced in Bath, and always 1p cheaper than esso down the road. And so far the only petrol station with free air.

Terry is kind and understanding when I come to D&H. He's passionate about his job, and never sells you unnecessary stuff like other garages have tried on me. Honest man Running an honest business. Great prices too! Goes up and above to make his customers happy. Definitely gets 5 stars from me! Cheers Terry!
Terry is simply the best. Been taking my bike there for 5 years and am always very pleased with his service, skills and prices.

As a Swiss tourist I went to Bishops with a very unusual problem: I needed a helmet for one day. They helped me out in a friendly, uncomplicated and nice way! 10 points of 10!! If I were from the Bath area, this would be my motorcycle shop. Thanks again!
Helpful chap. Took my 125 bike in for a mot. No issues. Great place for little/older bikes particularly 125s. Not sure about their range /stock of big bikes. Good place, would visit again.

Once again Clive saved the day, the car developed a real engine issue and he dealt with it really quickly. Very professional and efficient, I always feel really confident dealing with him.
Thank you for the fast and reliable service. MOTing and fixing my car today. Failed it's MOT at 10.30am and fixed and passed by 3pm.. Back on the road at an affordable price.

Always great clothes, and I look dapper when I'm repping oxfam. The shop could do with more men's clothes though but what they do have is usually quite nice! Staff are super nice and friendly. For sure one of the nicer charity shops on Bath
Great shop

12a Gay St, Bath BA1 2EH, UK – 01225 420790
Good range of clothes, books and entertainment available. The shop layout does make me feel a little clumped as sale racks and displays are quite close together. There is a ramp which is easy access for those in a wheelchair or pushchairs.

Thank you so much for truly exemplary service - I placed my order (Ping Pong Crossbow) on Tuesday 21 November at 9:00 am and the parcel (properly packed and labelled) arrived at 10:00am on Wednesday 22 November - amazing. Plus the little extra treat hidden in the package - the Love Hearts! Great job, well done. I would recommend you (enthusiastically) to anyone seeking quirky, good value toys and great service.
Love this magical place. Great for web order too.

Was last in Bath Twenty years ago before I moved to London in 1993. Have know your Gentleman's emporium since 1982. I was delighted to see you still here.
Utterly superb! I taught him how to use the internet and he has never looked back. Great selection of designer men's clothes and accessories. Been shopping here for 30 years. Highly recommended .. deceiving large and well stocked shop

Fabulous clothes and perfect service - it was like having a personal shopper. I love this shop and will be back soon!!

The Loft, 1 Bartlett Street, Bath BA1 2QZ, UK – 01225 462111
I have shopped at Blue for as long as I can remember. It is not just a clothing store but an art gallery of quirky, unusual clothes that has helped me express the person I am. It is a contemporary space which allows freedom to browse easily. The staff are always unbelievably helpful and know exactly when to help and when to leave you to soak up the wonderful clothes. If you visit Bath it would be a crime if you did not visit 'The Loft'. The coffee is the best in town and the furniture matches the clothes in its taste. Suzanne and Chloe keep searching the fashion world for the art of fashion. 'We are what we wear but we become what we wear'....your clothes excite me and I adore wearing them, thank you.
Very nice store for mature woman. More designer and less hippy than Hampstead. Good service. Not cheap but I've done some greatly successful emergency shops here for evening events. Some of their labels are German.
9A Bartlett Street, Bath BA1 2QZ, UK – 01225 333998
Very friendly, lovely clothes and great to see so many natural fabrics too. I keep going back and so do my friends. My favourite shop in Bath.
Visited their new shop in April. A lovely store with helpful friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit. Some gorgeous handknitted jumpers and love the fact they're fair trade too.

Netzen Solutions have been a vital part of Anthem Publishing's IT infrastructure for the last couple of years. They're not only massively technically knowledgable but are always reliably communicative, deadline-aware and have a high attention to detail. Rob and the rest of the team do a fantastic and professional job. Recommended highly
Netzen Solutions have provided IT support to our company for several years. The are extremely knowledgeable, efficient and responsive to queries and requests for assistance. I would not hesitate in recommending them to any business looking for reliable and reputable IT support.
18E Charles St, Bath BA1 1HX, UK – 0333 444 0165
We have only been a customer for approximately 6 months, but the support and up to date information supplied by Citrushr from the very beginning has been exceptional. The dashboard I have found a great help, it keeps you updated with all the relevant information broken down per employee, its report section is also very informative. I would highly recommend Citrushr to anyone, whether your business is large or small.
We looked at various products when changing our HR software and this one seemed to have the best functionality for our needs. Since signing up we have received amazing customer service (namely from Claire and the rest of her team), with one on one support to many requests and the product functionality has turned out to offer even more than we initially thought. We are a fast growing tech company, growing our headcount by about 20 in the last couple of months and CitrusHR has helped us manage the recruitment process; sending offer letters, references, employment contracts, on boarding and training. The library of employment policies and automatic legal updates are particularly useful, which creates an employee handbook for us, as well as the access to the consultants legal advice and support when needed (all of which is free and included in the package). They also helped us re-do our employment contracts and gave advice on managing the pensions auto-enrolment. I would definitely recommend this product to SME's who need to manage their HR. -appScatter Ltd

Avon St, Bath BA1 1UP, UK – 01225 312191
Was a student here for four years. Managed to successfully complete an Access Course this year, with a place at University achieved. Throughout my time as a student here, the support could have been better. Communication at times was a struggle, but I did like some of the opportunities that I experienced through being a student. These included volunteering, being part of a national business finals and travelling off site to Bristol Zoo. I liked the library resources, sometimes the College Moodle wouldn't load well on my mobile devices. The Internet at times was also a little dodgy. Easy to get to by bus or train.
Did an Access course here and thoughoroly enjoyed it, helped me progress onto University.
64 Beckhampton Rd, Bath BA2 3LN, UK – 01225 344420

Very responsive - fixed all my problems. I would recommend Bath Computer Services to any small business which wants practical support for an IT set-up that is based on standard technology.

Stall St, Bath BA1 1LZ, UK – 01225 477798
Great place to visit and learn. Free guided tour every hour and an audio tour while walking round. This place is very educational and reasonable in price if booking package deals on the visit bath website which includes afternoon tea, tickets to the bath and various other things depending on the package chosen.
Have visited the Roman Baths at Trier and in Bath. Found the one in Bath to be well worth the cost of admission and utterly absorbing, for 2-3 hours worth. They did a nice job of explaining a lot about life during the Roman era and its ties to the local religions and people during that era. This audio guide and placards at this site went out of their way to provide A real view into what their lives were like and quite a depth of information on the history of the site.

Thank you so much for the hampers - they were splendid! I really appreciated the company colour scheme and the individual paper insert with a list of the goodies!! From a logistical point of view I never doubted the hampers wouldn't turn up and I had complete faith that you were on the case. It was one less thing for me to think about!!! Thank you again! Kath
Great service from Taste of Bath. We order for our clients quite often and Helen knows just what we need and what people like. Speed of delivery is second to none too. Which is important in our game. Thank you Helen and the team for being so wonderful!

9 Chelsea Rd, Bath BA1 3PP, UK – 01225 446887
Love it here. The guys in there are really kind & honest, and in my experience, prioritise good customer service over making loads of money! Totally recommend.
My first experience was excellent. I bought a Mavic wheelset which arrived when Cadence said they would. They even shipped them on to my home address as I am 25 miles from their shop. Very friendly and professional service. Great communication. Really easy to do business with. My new local bike ship.
Unit 9, Green Park Station, Green Park Rd, Bath BA1 1JB, UK – 01225 920148
A really good quick run through the basic important bike maintenance tips that remedy problems you might encounter on the move. Well worthwhile. Thanks Tom
Tom is always very friendly and helpful. Have used numerous times and always does a great job. Recently had a problem with the shifter on my MTB, he sourced a replacement at the same price as online, was delivered the next day + fitted and re-indexed the brakes for an extremely reasonable price. Would definitely recommend.
35 Corn St, Bath BA1 1UF, UK – 01225 463350
Incredible experience . I brought my bike in to fix the gears and a buckled wheel. I also left my wife’s bike while we waited. Jake not only fixed my bike, but also noticed other faults that needed fixing (we recently shipped our bikes from the US), but he also checked through my wife’s bike, tightening the steering column etc. - all at no extra cost. I could not recommend Jake and everyone at Julian House high enough.
Best bike workshop in Bath by by far. Friendly hardworking staff, community feel, fantastic service. Super cheap prices too!

Quick service
16 St James's Parade, Bath BA1 1UL, UK – 01225 426085
We always use this store when we have an electrical fault - especially with vacuums and appliances. Prices are good and the gentleman is quick and always sticks to his time-frames which is great for our business.
Once again excellent service received from these guys. It is great to be able to use local, independent and professional services and I would thoroughly recommend Bath electrical services. Over 15 years they have never failed to deliver on their promises, there is always someone to talk to with knowledgeable advice and a willingness to help, a rare find these days.
13-15 Walcot St, Bath BA1 5BN, UK – 01225 311811
Excellent, well-informed advice on the 'phone about our preferred model of cooker (double oven with induction hob). In the shop, time willingly given to show us the model, talk through its workings, reserve it until required and arrange future delivery. A superb, good-humoured shopping experience.
Having now bought an American freezer, built in double oven and coffee maker from them, we have found the knowledge of the staff to be first class, they are helpful and courteous at all times and the fitters prompt and efficient.
Southgate Pl, Bath BA1 1AP, UK – 0344 561 0000
Good range, not great prices but it's good to touch and see the products before buying. Unfortunately, staff were all busy so I couldn't ask many questions but I was served quickly when I had made my selection.
Slow service from upstairs. But when someone did help he was very good. Probably just a staffing issue.
14 Pulteney Bridge, Bath BA2 4AY, UK – 01225 461938
Fantastic service and beautiful flowers! These guys are totally recommended. I have been using this shop over the years for delivery of flowers to family on special occasions. Always stunning and the team are so thoughtful and helpful!! Thank you!!
Prepared a stunning bouquet for my girlfriend's graduation in the abbey, very efficient service and a lovely little shop!
6 Sussex Pl, Bath BA2 4LA, UK – 01225 460121
We ordered a bouquet of flowers to congratulate my daughter on her First Class Honours results. The choice and floral arrangement was beautiful. She absolutely loved it. They delivered same day, at short notice! Many thanks. We will call again soon.
I phoned to place an order and the flowers were delivered less than three hours later. Great service, beautiful flowers and one happy wife! Will definitely use again and highly recommend.

I go there on my visits to town, a central shop, I get a new potted plant or two, on each visit, the girls are friendly & there are a good variety of cut and potted plants and flowers.
Really friendly lady working here, and she made me lovely bunch of flowers and it was reasonably priced.
12 George St, Bath BA1 2EH, UK – 01225 314418
Not the cheapest but very good quality. good coffee and food. Plenty of space to seat
Great place to stop for lunch or pick up a picnic. City centre but close to the Royal Crescent and Victoria Park.
12 Broad St, Bath BA1 5LJ, UK – 01225 448055
Good café to get take away sandwiches from although there is limited seating inside.
Enjoyed a breakfast bap and a coffee here.
8 Chelsea Rd, Bath BA1 3DU, UK – 01225 482045
Glad I found this place and had breakfast here instead of the overpriced cafe up the road. Good food, freshly made. Friendly service without the over-familiarity found in certain chains. My coffee was well-made, not burnt or drowned in milk. The ham in the ham and cheese croissant was delicious - flakey, light, slightly smokey and satisfyingly salty against the creaminess of the cheese. The croissant seemed homemade, perfect lamination and flakiness. Just typing this is making me want another one!
Fresh and tasty products plus friendly service.

This shop provides natural, eco-friendly resources for a healthier lifestyle and is stocked with comprehensive and thoughtful choices. Overall I find them to be less focussed on health food and more on good-quality essentials, when compared to local competitors. Browsing the shelves here I feel that the price for natural solutions is not lavender-tinged B.O. by afternoon (I've tried my fair share of "natural, aluminium-free" deodorants!) and inevitable, impending veganism. The ladies running Seasons are always willing to answer any questions and take quite a no-nonsense approach to finding the product that fits your need best - not just the one with the hype, the hefty price tag or a thousand and one health benefits more than you asked for! It has become my monthly stop for several excellent products that I can't find elsewhere in Bath.
37 Walcot St, Bath BA1 5BN, UK – 01225 465519
A bit messy shop, but cheapest essential oils ever found (teatree, amour natural). Many products priced very reasonably comparing to other Somerset healthfood shops. Lady at the deli counter not bothering to respond to a simple 'hello'...also how about some smiles, please!...customer service could be better.
Amazing place, with all sorts of things tucked into the corners. We were after very specific flour (barley flour and maize flour), and there they were, along with a cornucopia of other things. Mildly disorganized, in parts, but staff friendly and very helpful.

I came to the Grape Tree for the first time on Monday after a disastrous trip to Sainsbury’s, where I could not find any raw health organic ACV infusion turmeric and ginger vinegar, and after a emergency internet search to find my nearest organic shop I was surprised to find one right in the heart of the historical city of Bath. (I am from London where there is a few health shops here and there.. I was not expecting such shops in bath..) Not only did I find my vinegar, I found a huge selection of healthy, organic and authentic ingredients that I stocked up on, including a range of my absolute favourite snacks by Zoot. I also stocked up on some must-buy vegan goodies, my hubby is a vegan, as am I on weeknights, and the vegan sweet selection was a nice touch for my basket. Aside from the wonders I found food-wise, the shop was absolutely lovely. It was incredibly clean and tidy. I can not fault anything about the choice of food and the shop as a whole.. next time I am in Bath I will return..
Excellent. Helpful staff, great prices, exciting stock. Everything anyone who loves nuts and fruit could need. Fun foods. Everywhere needs a Grape Tree.

I am a regular visitor to the garden centre, and I have to say it's a great place. The plant section, pet section, books and card section and the cafe are all excellent, with great choices and knowledgeable, friendly staff. I recommend a visit soon if not before...
Plants look healthy and a nice range for a smallish garden centre. Nice ideas for gifts and cards too. Tea shop is lovely.
155 Whiteway Rd, Bath BA2 2RG, UK – 01225 421162
Good garden centre, moderate prices, good range of plants helpfully organised into categories such as 'shade-loving'. Tools quite well priced and a recently improved cafe.
Excellent place for greeting cards! There's also a small "home cooked" frozen food section - can't think of the name but it's quite posh and the 3mushroom lasagne is very nice! A couple of other veggie things too. I like it.! And I understand it sells garden stuff as well!
Windsor Bridge Rd, Bath BA2 3DT, UK – 07902 512561
Wow... these guys have the biggest & best stock range of landscaping products. Helpful Staff & know their stuff. Helped me overcome a few problems in my garden. Highly Recommended !!!
Used the cheaper Bath Stone lookalikes...Now there are worn in they look great, easily as smart as a friends much more expensive slabs. Great value for money and very helpful service.

I visited pandora on the 3rd July, I wanted to treat myself for my 22nd birthday. Alexandra served me, she was absolutely fantastic. I wasn’t going to write this review but with the outstanding service I received, I had to bring it to everyone’s attention! what a fantastic, smart, professional and a credit Alexandra is to not just the Bath store but to Pandora over all. As a former pandora employee, I know the Pandora way of selling & Alexandra went above and beyond. I called up a few days ago asking if she had Found my bracelet (as I missed placed it) she went out of her way to search the store and asking other staff members if they had seen it or had it handed in! she even pointed me in the direct of anyone and everywhere that could help me! She even apologised for the situation I was in! What a lovely lady! I thankfully found it at home (🙈) !!! Silly!! Thank you very much Alexandra, you’re fab!!! Keep working hard!! :)))
I love Pandora, only thing is the store is tiny! All there jewellery is super cute.

Bought a Longines watch today from Emma who was great in dealing with us very patient must of had a dozen watches out to look at in one go, she was very professional between herself and the other chap in the store were very knowledgable and nothing was to much trouble, once decided upon watch to buy they then sized it taking links out and putting back in to get the perfect fit don’t like my watches to tight or to loose yet they done this happily Would highly recommend and would go back 👍
Had a great experience in the Bath store, staff were excellent. Frank was very helpful and had very good knowledge of diamonds. As we could not find what we wanted he suggested having a look at some diamonds and having a ring made. We are now waiting for the ring to arrive and are very excited. I would recommend them and I will be using them again.
15 Union St, Bath BA1 1RR, UK – 01225 337015
Exceptional staff (Donna) and great range if items at H Samuels in Bath. Also, the staff know their stuff and helped me make the right purchase for a very important celebration. Thank you Donna.
Did a great price match on the Seiko watch I was after, ended up with a bargain cannot fault them ! Donna the manageress was more than helpful ......Thankyou
2 Abbeygate St, Bath BA1 1NP, UK – 01225 562230
The young chap that attended to us was extremely polite and helpful. Nothing was to much trouble and he was very informative. Well done.
I was on the lookout for new walking boots and had amazing help from Ben. He was knowledgeable on the different types of boots available and provided his opinions but never pressured me to go with any particular brand or style. He made a task that I wasn't particularly looking forward to a fun experience and I'm happy with my new purchase. If you're on the lookout for a pair of boots I would have no hesitation in recommending Ben to help you!
30 Southgate St, Bath BA1 1TP, UK – 01225 460200
Wonderful shop with friendly and helpful staff. Helpful but not pressuring. Will definitely be going back if my partner hasn't already bought the maps we need to get the ones they recommended.
BCH Outdoor is place to go for all your outdoor needs. What makes this place great are the staff, extremely knowledgeable and experienced. They are more than happy to spend time with and answer your questions. Can't recommend enough!
25/28 High St, Bath BA1 5AJ, UK – 01225 435500
A good of products, covering pretty much everything one might need for camping/hiking etc. Staff are friendly but struggle with more technical questions.
Great shop. Great friendly staff.
33 Guildhall Market, Bath BA2 4AW, UK – 01225 464085
Really friendly bunch. Great range of supplies. Free delivery in Bath which is ideal for heavy items like cat litter and dog food. Super.
2 Moorland Rd, Bath BA2 3PJ, UK – 01225 316509
Wonderful and helpful staff, great range of products and also offer a delivery service.
Helpful & friendly with a lovely dog
10 St James's Parade, Bath BA1 1UL, UK – 01225 461461
Lovely little pet shop with a wide range, plus they get items in for you if they don't have what you want. I wanted parrot toys and they got wooden foraging toys in for me instead of the normal plastic things with mirrors!!
Lovely lady named Elise helped me when I had some Giant African Land Snails to re-home. She was polite, friendly and happy to help, and now has six living with her.
5 Westgate Buildings, Bath BA1 1EB, UK – 0344 332 5355
Good value sports store that does more than just sports clothing. Is very large and spacious. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. Prices are decent.
Typical Sports Direct set up. Had the shoes I wanted at a good price. Half sizes available which is not always the case
2 Argyle St, Bath BA2 4BA, UK – 01225 466341
Excellent sales advice and support for buying a new pair of running shoes Compared to another well known running shoe shop who failed spectacularly to help with a problem, so my custom went else where. The young lady who helped me took her time, offered advice and above all else was honest when she didn't have an answer: Fantastic new pair of shoes so will return with the family as and when. As a local, I felt valued as a customer which is something lacking from another shop not so far away. Thank you John Moore sport.
Good sports shop, great variety of sports accounted for. Only issue I’ve had in the past is missing stock, but as a hockey placer it’s nice to see a good variety of hockey equipment stocked.
18 High St, Bath BA1 5AJ, UK – 01225 462555
Over the years I have purchased several items from the Running shop and they have always been very helpful. The shop is well laid out, the staff very friendly and knowledgeable. It is easy to buy stuff off of the internet these days but nothing beats dealing with people face to face and I would highly recommend the Running Shop Bath and it’s team. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great shop. Always helpful. Really knowledgeable because they all run and know what they are talking about. The owners are nice people too.
20 Westgate St, Bath BA1 1EQ, UK – 01225 425201
Excellent town centre stationers
Many items are far too expensive and the range of items are low, but good if you are pursuing calligraphy
12 Old Bond St, Bath BA1 1BR, UK – 01225 445347
Woods ! One of the reasons I am proud to be a Bathonian. This shop is second to none, not only selling all things difficult to find anywhere else, but compeditive prices & THE STAFF...all of them....par excellent. Woods ! in a word...perfection
A stunning independent stationery shop. It always just FEELS better buying stationery from here than other shops or chains.
18 Union Passage, Bath BA1 1RE, UK – 01225 444224
I would agree in part with the other reviewer that says they are high on price.....BUT! I've found the customer service outstanding, and they always seem to have what you want or get it for the next day. If price floats and you can wait 3-5 days, order stuff from online stationers. If you want great customer service and instant use, then use these people. Called for 1 white chinagraph. They didn't have it in the shop so checked the warehouse and hey presto they had 2. Ordered 2 white and 1 black in the end. I could only order packs of 12 online, but just wanted 1. So overall net saving here of over £7.50.
b, Weston Lock Retail, Lower Bristol Rd, Bath BA2 1EP, UK – 0344 561 0000
Good service. Very required ad IT systems seriously poor. It took 4 assistants to sorry us out. They all tried hard and we got there. We were swapping a poor iron on instant replacement and buying a Dyson cool fan.
Very well looked after by all that have served me at the bath depot! Always feel welcome in this store and always get the help needed with all products from laptop and printer to toaster and mobile phones. Nice one
4-5 Abbeygate St, Bath BA1 1NP, UK – 0330 123 5986

Upper Bristol Rd, Bath BA1 3AT, UK – 0345 165 7895
Every thing was fine until we waited to collect our purchase - and waited and waited. Had to ask and it was there on the shelf. Apologies but the process, after all these years not reliable??
Got served immediately after showing my reference number from a different website. It's convenient to choose Argos as the pickup point. My order was brought to the counter in a matter of minutes and I was on my way home.
91 Bloomfield Dr, Bath BA2 2BH, UK – 01225 340832
Sandra is amazing to work with. Her cakes taste incredible, but she also really listened to what we wanted. We spoke to a couple of people as we wanted a rustic, wonky cake with soft sponges, like red velvet - we were told it was not possible and had people try and persuade us to do something different. Sandra took on the challenge, even though it was something she hadn't tried before, and delivered a perfect cake that actually stood up in 27 degree heat! Could not rate her highly enough, a true confectionary artist and so lovely to work with.
I have had a wedding cake and a christening cake made by Sandra and both have been stunning creations. Both beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. She delivers on every level. Her standard of work is impeccable.
The Old Bakery, Jews Ln, Bath BA2 3DG, UK – 01225 339394
We are so glad that Strawberry Fields were our caterers for our wedding day! The food was delicious and so beautifully presented that we're still hearing about it from friends and family. Amber, our front of house manager is phenomenal. There was nothing she couldn't handle and never broke a sweat and the team were always very accommodating. Having never had a wedding before, I was totally unaware about how quickly the day would run away with us. Amber was there every step of the way to make sure everything went to plan and would discreetly pop up to let us know what was next on the agenda. It was honestly the most perfect day and Strawberry Fields was a large part of that - so our sincerest thanks goes out to each and every one of the catering team who played their part in making our day so memorable, we really couldn't have asked for more! Georgia & Alex
Wonderful service from start to finish. Gary and his team served a perfect beef wellington to over 130 guests on the hottest day of the year! There were empty plates all around and no end of complements from the guests. I would recommend in a heart beat, money well spent!!

12 Wellsway, Bath BA2 2AA, UK – 01225 429485
The staff are all fab great selection of wine
Nice friendly staff. Good selection of wines.
Wells Rd, Bath BA2 3AP, UK – 01225 322810
Remember Oddbins of old? Where they'd have staff who really knew their wine, the origins and how they compliment flavours? I do and Great Western Wine nail this in spades. Don't know if I got lucky with a particular staff member but his advice was spot on and certainly hit the mark. Would I shop here again? Oh God yes, been back several times since.....same guy still there, wouldn't go anywhere else now.
Great shop and really helpful staff. I would recommend so much that I have planned a visit with friends from out of town. Its in a bad location for advertising, but that will not put you off when you go there.
29-31 Walcot St, Bath BA1 5BN, UK – 01225 448748
Excellent range of different cheese, both local and from abroad. The staff are patient and knowledgeable, offering small samples of each cheese to aid you in your choice. The quality of the cheese is excellent, we practically polished off the Stinking Bishop we bought in one sitting. Will definitely be back
Absolutely fantastic. I ordered a "create your own port and stilton" package for Father's Day (from overseas) and Dad was blown away. He's sent me a photo and it's a HUGE bit of Colston Basset with a really good port and awesome biscuits and chutney. The price was incredible for what he received - and the service and delivery was brilliant. Thank you!
