Having Worked with Tp Richards on numerous contracts we are happy to recommend them for a quality service and high spec finish.

T.P.Richards came highly recommended to us and this is the second time we have used them. We had a new kitchen fitted last year and we have just had a conservatory/extension completed by them. I cannot speak highly enough of them. From the girls in the office to the workers on site, everyone is so friendly and nothing appears to be to much trouble - in fact they can't do enough for you. I was going to name names, but I think over the course of the six weeks that this project took we must have had every employee from the firm and every single one of them deserves a mention. they all take a pride in their work and are more than happy to change things (if and when we change our mind). They were also very tidy in their work and cleaned up as they went. I even caught one of them (Sean) sweeping soil off our lawn. Master Trades did a major rebuild in my house, and I'm a fussy customer! Before the work started we met several times and, working with my plans, they suggested new ideas and options. They went to a lot of trouble to source materials that I'd selected but weren't easily obtainable. Their service was friendly, patient and highly professional and the work was faultless. I have no hesitation in recommending this firm.

I could not recommend this company more highly! They excavated our garden and built a sunken patio. The job they carried out was immaculate; fast; efficient; no mess left and the people polite and trustworthy. We were so delighted with the end result and will continue to use Master Trades for any future building work needed.

Nice friendly staff, very efficient, lovely car (brand new Fiesta), good service. Would recommend. Could use a shelter and, ideally, off road parking for customer cars as you leave your car roadside under trees. My car was covered in sap when I got back which took a bit of scrubbing to get off.

The Bath Enterprise branch staff are always friendly and very helpful and efficient. I find the Bath Enterprise to be the best car hire place I have ever hired from! Enterprise definitely puts custom service as a priority and I am always extremely satisfied when I am dealing with Enterprise either in Bath or at Heathrow.

Ok i guess,sometimes you get cars with previous guests rubish in and empty tank even though you sign a contract full to full tank rental....but the prices are ok...staff members lovely....a bit down the fact with the petrol tank...but i guess they wanna make an extra £ hoping that you will return your car with more petrol ....and they exctract it and accumulate

Absolutely awesome work and the nicest guys to have on the build too. They came highly recommended for our complicated cut roof, which is open to the eaves with intersecting ridges coming off two gables, and sitting on 8 steels! The Building Regulations guy just visited and commented on how good the carpentry work on the roof was!

I have used Perfect Space Carpentry for numerous jobs, such as a new original bespoke kitchen and island unit designed, built and installed. As well as some unique one off designed and fitted bedroom cupboards for 2 rooms in our house and some bespoke oak shelving to name but a few. They always go above and beyond the call of duty. Perfection in craftsmanship and quality. Really good value for the superior quality and finish. I would recommend without hesitation and what makes it even better is most of the work is done off site and is then just fitted on site, so the disruption is always minimal.

We used Perfect Space Carpentry to build a bespoke fitted wardrobe for us. Cady drove over to Bristol from Bath twice at weekends to talk through options with us. We were offered a huge array of possible styles, layouts, materials, finishes, colours - anything was possible! The install went smoothly and the finished wardrobes are stunning. We are extremely happy and would definitely recommend them - we will certainly use them again ourselves!

Did a great job on some work around our pub. Very nice person to deal with, doesn't intimidate with the jargon some builders throw at you constantly. Would definitely recommend him and would definitely ask back to do more work when we need it done.

I have been using this garage for years. I just had my annual MOT and as usual I am delighted with the service I received. This is the best garage in Bath and probably the best garage I have ever used. I would recommend this company to everyone.

We have used Combe Down for over 8 years and always found them to be honest with a high quality of work. I was happy when my Mazda came out of warranty. They are far superior to the main Mazda dealer in Bath and actually do what you ask them to do!

Excellent work, after being quoted three times as much for some work to our Mini by the dealership these guys have helped us out no end. Update on previous review: A Mr Dave Heron contacted me to resolve the issue and ordered me a new owners manual. The manual has arrived at my address as promised. Thank you for sorting this matter out efficiently and effectively. Unfortunately after a smooth purchasing process I have phoned several times to get my owners manual for the vehicle. It is 3 months since I purchased the vehicle and despite all the promises, no manual has arrived. I almost purchased the insurance plan for the vehicle at the time purchase, so glad I didn't as this appears to be another dealership full of style but no substance.

Average experience. Took over an hour to be seen to after my appointment time as car (used) was not ready. Was looking at a plug-in hybrid and it barely had a mile of charge on it to test out. On the plus side, reception staff very friendly and sales guy straightforward, not too pushy, and up front in offering a good market price for my part exchange. He was also quite helpful in digging out service history since it's all online instead of in a service book. Decided not to buy here in the end as found my preferred model elsewhere, but probably worth a shot (but also check some other dealerships) if you are in the market for a used vehicle.

My wife picked up her new Polo today, great service from start to finish from Steve Faggatter, no pressure to buy, clear and knowledgeable about different options - a refreshing car buying experience for the better!

I initially brought in my Mini Cooper after an incident with a lorry who ran me off the road and had damaged the bumper and spoiler. They were really nice people who made the bumper safe and legal for me to drive until they put together a quote for the repair. A couple of weeks later I dropped her off to have the bumper and spoiler replaced, I was quoted 3 to 5 days, due to health reasons I couldn't last very long without her. I was able to pick her up at the end of day 4, to be fair I could have picked her up earlier but the spoiler didn't arrive in. The replacement is very neat, and she looks beautiful again. Really professional and nice people! I would fully recommend them.

Does what it says on the tin! booked a van for next day, remember to book online only and choose "bath" only to view all the local suppliers. If your arriving by train search " Bath Train Station " and they offer to meet you.

I see a couple of grudge reviews here and so I'm happy to set the record straight. We use Bath Lock & Key for all lock repairs on our managed rental properties (Wild & Lye on Bathwick Street). They are always efficient, courteous and reasonably priced.

Needed a new front door lock so contacted BL&K. Was treated courteously and respectfully, and the job was done quickly and with the minimum of fuss,and at a more than fair price. Can't recommend these guys enough. Many thanks...

Good car park, average sized spaces. Usually get a very busy quickly. Can pay by card as well as cash.

always good to park there over the night because it is out of charge. just advice if you park less than 2 hours, there is no option to pay for parking less than 2 hours. Better know that if you only have a short visit in Bath. but the price is reasonable and there are always spaces

The car park is reasonably priced and we’ve not yet experienced any sort of queue or difficulty finding space as yet. My only slight issue are the bizarre and confusing ticket machines. I feel like they need some sort of lever on the side like a Vegas betting machine as they are beyond confusing!

One of the largest pay & display 24 hour car parks in Bath . Plenty of parking & seems a safe option . A pleasant 10 - 15 minute walk from the City centre.

As an Independent Mercedes-Benz dealer, we were looking for an audio specialist to assist with some more tricky audio repairs with some older cars and were recommended to use Maple Audio. On the two occasions we have used them so far, they have been excellent. All repairs carried out to our satisfaction and a fair price charged. Without hesitation, we would recommend them.

Best car wash in the area! My car was very dirty both inside and outside, the guys were very friendly and helpful, in 35 minutes they've manage to give me back the car pretty much brand new! Will go back every time I'll need to clean my car! AMAZING AND VERY CHEAP!

I popped here today by accident! I was out for a drive to find somewhere to walk and came across this carwash place so decided to give it a go! I asked for wash and dry, great price, very thorough, especially in the pre rinse down! Really nice people, attention was paid to the tyres and underside of the car, she was nice and shiny. I have previously been to hand car wash people in Rush Hill and the car was left a little dirty in places and had drips all over. I will use this place again.

Situation: Called for a pipe fix due to a leak in kitchen sink. Gave a call and was offered an appointment for next working day. Time of engineer's arrival was specified and arrived promptly. Review comments: Overall very good. Engineer resolved issue very quickly and efficiently. Customer service for appointment scheduling very good as well and commendable for offering an appointment within the next day. No complaints to make. I recommend to anyone in the Bath area.

Booked them to fit a new boiler. John was efficient, explained everything clearly, cleared up and it cost half of the British Gas quote.

John & team took out my old boiler and fitted a new combi boiler & wireless thermostat. John took the time to explain all the various options visiting the house and proposing several solutions for solving a tricky flue issue avoiding the need for a costly scaffold. I was advised of the start and finish date well in advance and work was carried out according to this agreed timescale. The final invoice matched the estimate due to the fact that we had discussed the job upfront in some detail. I've thanked Jon and Kim (company secretary) for their excellent communication - easily contactable by phone email and text. Its a neat job and worth noting how careful and tidy John was during the installation - no mess. I have recommended RJM to friends and colleges and plan to use John and team from my next job. D

Bath Domestic Cleaners did an end of tenancy clean for me, the staff were friendly and chatty and very approachable. I left the property and returned 3 hours later, the standard of clean was the best yet and I’ve used them for three years running. The property was immaculate. Highly recommend this company and would employ them again.

I needed a new screen which was completed efficiently but unfortunately it does have a dead pixel. I can live with this but more annoyingly for some reason changes had been made on my PC, i had to reinstall all my steam games and most of all i had soundblaster audio installed which is now gone, reducing my audio quality significantly and i cannot get it back. Irritating because i only wanted a screen change...

Lovely little cafe. Great drinks. But didn't do food apart from baguettes and sandwiches.

Just love this place - a calm relaxed environment, incredibly polite staff (genuine people vs the usual coffee serving robots) and a great range of coffee / teas & bites - and open to all, no matter the size of your dog, bike or baby buggy! Well laid out interior with different areas and zones for those who want to chat, work or simply people watch plus precious outside space in one of the nicest squares in Bath. Stuff to read on the tables and walls and just a real feeling your are welcome in a place that's much, much more than a cafe. The owners clearly have a philosophy that everyones's time is valuable so they've created a place where your time is always well spent be it on your own, with friends, having a meet or on a family outing. Worth a visit for sure.

I had a great experience learning to drive with my instructor Terry, from Drive2us. As someone who never thought they would learn to drive because of nerves and anxiety, Terry was extremely reassuring and patient. He was able to create a relaxed environment while teaching me to be a safe and responsible driver.

Learning to drive was a fun and delightful experience with Drive2us. My instructor Terry Case is a terrific instructor. From day one we got along very well, he managed to create an exciting experience every lesson. Making sure it wasn’t completely super serious and being able to have fun in the lessons whilst being safe and responsible. Within just a year and a half I felt ready enough to take my practical test. My instructor made sure I was prepared on every aspect and managed to help me mentally ready myself for a stressful situation of a test (as most of them are). After passing my test I realised I would of never been able to pass without the instructions and guidance of my incredible instructor. I would fully recommend Drive2us to anyone looking to start driving of any age!

Just wanted to say a big thank you to you and your incredible team! You provided the most exciting and entertaining creche at our wedding which is exactly what we wanted. The party bags that the children had at the wedding breakfast were packed full of so many things that there was no chance of them getting bored. We were really impressed with how everything looked too- really suited our festival theme! The DVDs and popcorn with the nannies went down very well and every time we popped in, more children were asleep. Our guests who are parents were so grateful that they got a day and night off! Danielle and her team did an amazing job for us on our wedding day! The children had an absolutely wonderful time, and their parents were so pleased to be able to relax – knowing all the time that one of the team would let them know if the children needed them. It was great for everyone to see the children enjoying themselves. Pitch Up and Play were so good at getting the kids to play and chat with each other, across language differences on this particular occasion, which can’t have been easy at times. Several of the children exchanged postal addresses at the end of the evening, and this speaks volumes for the friendly atmosphere which Danielle and her team generated. The older kids were proud to show the various artefacts they had made in the course of the evening, while the younger ones were blissfully asleep. A stress-free party for everyone – bliss for the newly married couple and their guests, big and small. We would highly recommend them, without the slightest hesitation!

We have both sold and bought through Knight Frank Bath. They are very professional, straight forward and honest. They give you really good advice and know the market very well. They provided regular updates of progress and status. Always there when you needed it and responded very quickly to requests etc. Not pompous like some and much more realistic about values (buying and selling) than many. Hopefully won't need to use them for a good few years but heartily recommend them.

At one point or another we came into contact with most of the team at Knight Frank in Bath and without exception they were highly professional and personable and instilled the confidence we lacked in other agents. From valuation, through obtaining a great price, to managing the sale and beyond, we remained very glad that we'd chosen to use Knight Frank and can't speak too highly of them.

I worked in Financial Services for 28 years and thought I knew how to spot a good Financial Adviser, but prior to meeting Jonothan made the mistake of accepting a personal recommendation to a well known national firm, and repented at my leisure (as they say). So with Jonothan I got to know him well first, did my due diligence and the track record of delighted clients and national recognition (e.g. Financial Adviser of the Year, Retirement & later Life Advice Specialist of the year to name but two) backed all this research up. Even so, having got my fingers burnt, I was still very cautious and asked lots of questions. Jonothan was extremely patient, knowledgeable and structured in his whole approach. His communications were prefect through the whole transfer process (which was complicated by Lloyds Pension Administrators being changed 'mid-transfer') and Jonothan dealt with the problems as they arose and together even got the new administrators to resolve a complaint when mistakes were made during the transfer process. I am confident that we now have a solid investment strategy and he is now advising my wife too on her pension investments. Martin and his PA Debbie are a fantastic team and really helped us set up our mortgage and life assurance. As first time buyers we had no idea what we were doing and Martin made it as simple as it could be. Naughty but Nice is a lovely hairdressers filled with professional and bubbly stylists and staff , since I've been working at naughty but nice I have always felt very welcomed by staff and by clients. I work in both Chelsea road and larkhall salon and find them both such a lovely atmosphere to be involved in. All the stylists are very lovely to there clients and will always offer an alternative to any issues a client may feel (not as this is happened in the 10 months I've been working here) At Naughty but nice we ensure that all clients are felt as they are the only person in the room and they are taken care of from the moment they walk in the doors to the moment they leave. Each stylist are lovely in there own special ways and wouldn't have one negative word about any of them. Bit puzzled as to why I had to wait with no one in front of me and no bookings in. Overall a good experience was offered coffee which was decent. Quick cut and pretty even it not a little rough on the clippers at the back. Nice chilled atmosphere.

Argyle St’s Jay is frankly absolutely genius at cutting hair. He has carried out a cut for me over and over and it is looking superb. A really neat cut which is blended fantastically. Part preppy part old school and part fresh. I am genuinely very happy. You would not get this good a cut at say Toni and Guy.

Simply Insurance Bath were extremely helpful and thorough and they were with us from start to finish during our property hunt. They are still providing support even long after completion. We hadn't bought a house before and so we didn't know where to even begin. They took all the stress and worry out of the whole process so that we didn't have to struggle through all the hurdles on our own. All the staff at Honeysuckle Farm Boarding Cattery are so friendly and welcoming. A place you will want to use again and again.

Such a sanctuary in the city when you're a parent. Get the lift up, grab a coffee and snack in the Waitrose cafe and enjoy the wonderful children's storytime area in the library next door. Most of the staff v good but we were greeted by a rather frosty and officious receptionist to start with.

I have visited the library a few times. Signing up for the library was easy by using the libraries West website, you can sign up even if you live in Wiltshire like me. The library is above Waitrose and is easy to find. All staff are friendly and helpful. facilities are clean and well kept, computers are available free for two hours.

Moorland Road is a lovely library, with easy transport access either from the railway station or bus stops into the city. It is small but cosy with a great range of books and DVDs available. I like to browse the shelves and also pick up reservations. Any queries I have, always come with a fast response. Well recommended.

As soon as we met Tom, we knew that he was the photographer for us! Not only are his photos beautifully shot, but he is a master at telling a story through a series of moments. He also made sure that all of the photos that we requested to be taken were ticked off the list and the guests loved chatting to him! I had concerns about being out of my property early with the travel back to Bath, but turns out the guys had travelled up the evening before so they could be with me first thing in the morning. The only takeaway we order now! Tried a few of the pizza takeaways in Bath but this is definitely the best, been ordering from them since last year. Big size pizzas with good amount of toppings on them and generous cheese. Great selection of toppings and really fast delivery times.

Excellent taxi service made even better by the introduction of card payments on the App. However, the App needs to be able to record your destination when booking, so needs updating.

Have been using V Cars in Bath on a weekly basis for a few years, mainly for travel to/from Bath Spa train station. I've used the old and new apps on iPhone and Android, as well as phoning to order a taxi. In general, the service is great. The cars always turn up on time, I've never missed a train as a result, cars are good and drivers are courteous. The app now allows in-app payment via credit card so I can just get out on arrival and payment is accurate and automatic, with the receipt sent via email. I can also optionally rate the driver and tip them via the app too. You can track the car's location and get notifications when the car is dispatched and arrives, so all good there. Lastly, it's nice to use a local alternative to Uber that isn't based in the Netherlands (to avoid paying UK tax) and doesn't try to eliminate the competition by subsidizing the service (if you care about that sort of thing.) Edit: removed my minor comments about the app, as a new version has been rolled out - thanks!

Used mobile app for first time. Very impressed. Car arrived very punctually, car was lovely and driver very friendly. Most importantly a reliable taxi service! The app was easy to use and very informative. No need to look anywhere else now. I will definitely be using v cars from now on.

Staff weren't very welcoming and took a very long time searching for holidays, we explained we wanted a cheap last minute getaway from Bristol but we're shown holidays flying from London, Bournemouth etc and only a few from Bristol that didn't match the time scale, we did understand that she was having trouble with her slow loading computer but we were in there for 2 hours and got nowhere it was so draining, I mean booking a holiday should be exciting and a happy time but this wasn't anywhere near that so we upped and left and booked a holiday online. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend flight centre

After moving out from University of Bath, STA Travel landed here in the centre of Bath. Staffs are helpful, and could give you some good advices on your bookings. Students can sometimes get some good discount through them.

Fantastic service, I went in to ask about headphones and amplifiers the other day. They were happy to let me test any of the headphones on display and I had a good 20 min discussion about what amp to get before settling on a headbox. There was no pressure at all and I wasn't pushed towards uneccesarily expensive systems. I had to put in an order as they didn't have the headbox in stock, I came in to pick it up today and was happy to see that it had arrived when they said it would. Would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Good service. Very required ad IT systems seriously poor. It took 4 assistants to sorry us out. They all tried hard and we got there. We were swapping a poor iron on instant replacement and buying a Dyson cool fan.

Rosemary Lodge were absolutely fantastic when my cat got involved in an accident in our back garden and had to have stitches done to one of his legs. My cat got great care with them, and very ideal for us as it was open 24 hours for emergencies, with easy travel to reach the Lodge. We had to rush him in for re-stitching a few times (naughty cat pulled some of them out!) Needless to say, he is fully recovered and back to his adventures. All clean, tidy and plenty of leaflets to read. The vet who saw my cat was friendly and answered all of our questions.

Fantastic service every time (especially in stressful emergency situations). They always make sure it’s as stress free as possible for my cat and they make sure I’m up to date on the treatments available on their healthcare plan so I’m not missing out on anything. Very friendly and they send you reminder texts too so you never forget an appointment. Would highly recommend.

Excellent work and value for money. (too cheap really!) I saw them cleaning a neighbours' windows last week and asked them to do mine. Chose them because they weren't just spraying the panes with an extended squiggly and making a mess of things like so many other window cleaners do these days. They really were cleaning windows the traditional way with ladders, cloths and elbow grease! The results speak for themselves, no smears, clean panes and wiped seals and ledges at the end.
