Bath is excellent. The service here is the best I've had. Jeremy on reception gave us a nice route to walk into town. Breakfast was lovely. Views facing bath from the room was excellent. Will definitely be going back (hopefully).
One of the best places we've stayed! The hotel is great, the room was well presented in a vintage style and the grounds were very nice. The hosts couldn't do enough for you! Breakfast is one of the best we've had from a hotel and make sure you're up early to get a seat in the bay window and enjoy the view. Will be heading back to here at some point soon.

Fantastic hotel in the heart of Bath. The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from everything. We had a feature room which was spread across 3 levels. The room had great amenities including a fan (it was quite warm on the nights we stayed). Breakfast was a highlight for me. Both continental and cooked options available (or both!), with fresh juices, and great veggie options too. Finally, the staff really help make this hotel 5*. Always friendly, smiling and attentive. Eager to help and answer questions (even with visitors not staying at the hotel!). They really contribute to making this place special. Thank you for a great stay!
From the ability to 'chat' to reception on our way there to the wonderfully warm reception on arrival I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel. Eco friendly, honesty bar, parking and all within the centre of town! Absolutely fabulous!

Really comfortable bed and pillows. The place was nice and cozy. Very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful and offered to keep our luggage after checkout in case we wanted to explore the city more. The traditional breakfast was really tasty with high quality ingredients.
Lovely Victorian B&B, friendly, helpful staff and 10 minutes from the Baths. Stayed two nights and will definitely stay again. Christine and Warren Price Australia

The service and food was more then excellent. My wife had the fish and chips. I had the chicken special in a tomato basil sauce. The tomato, basil soup was the best I ever had.
A reasonably nice roast, if a little pricey for what you get. Like a lot of places in Bath they fail to really nail what makes a roast dinner great and lack in the areas of side veg, roast potatoes and gravy. The meat and taste was great though, so will return to review some more of the menu in the future possibly.

This place was highly recommended. We came with expectation and the fish and chips did not disappoint us at all. It was a very simple and unpretentious pub. A very good place for food and a pint. The staff was also very helpful and friendly
Only popped in for a couple, but was impressed with the huge range of beers and ales, staff were really polite and helpful, will pay a longer visit next time I'm around.

We would highly recommend this pub for a relaxed, informal evening. We were there on steak night, the food was excellent, staff really friendly and a great choice of wine. The seating was a bit uncomfortable but hey thats a minor thing.
My favourite pub in the whole of Bath. Hands down. Absolutely amazing food cooked by a passionate Chef who knows and is dedicated to his craft and is all locally sourced! Very friendly and helpful staff. I recommend this lovely family run pub if you're visiting the city or just looking for a change. And they have a lovely woodburning stove which makes for a very warm and homely feel when visiting.

Lovely big house but 1 X shower doesn't work very well and no batteries in the remotes. Very well appointed to Bath itself
Lovely large, clean house. Everything you need is here. Comfy beds & nice bathrooms. Its walking distance to the shops. 20 of us girls had a fabulous weekend here for the 2nd time.

I stayed in one of Laura’s townhouses (lady Margaret’s) last November for my hen party. The house was everything I’d hoped for and more it was lovely. Spacious, clean and all amenities that were needed. It was also easy walking distance to town. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Thank you for lovely memories.
All necessary amenities, and everything is new and clean

This place is a really nice home to rent in the countryside of Bath. It's literally located in the middle of nowhere and is therefore really peaceful. The roads around the house are narrow and difficult to navigate at night, so I would recommend travelling during the day of possible.
Very lovely time with comfortable beds. Lots of great restful sleep. Would definitely recommend!

Nicely furnished, very well equipped and clean room, immensely yummy breakfast (especially the fresh fruit salad) and absolutely amiable hosts who care for you in a very personal way. we could have stayed for ever.
My daughter held her hen weekend at Bodhi House on Friday 11 March. Before we arrived the owners took in our food delivery and put everything in the fridge/freezer etc. Then on arrival we were greeted by Jamie and shown around. The house is both modern, cosy and well kept throughout. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, it had everything you could have asked for. The beds were comfy and the bedding was of a high standard. Every bathroom was modern and clean. We had a fabulous time and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this as a place to stay with a group of friends or as a B&B.

We had a delightful one night stay at Chestnuts House - and only wish we could've stayed longer! My 2 sisters and I shared an exceptionally comfortable and beautifully-appointed family room. There was a large bathtub in the bathroom, as well as tea, coffee, water and snacks laid out in the room. Toni cooked us a delicious breakfast, which we greatly enjoyed! A perfect way to start our only day in Bath. Toni himself is a very welcoming, friendly and professional host. We were very pleased - and will most definitely return!
What an absolute gem of a find, excellent hotel with friendly and extremely helpful host. The room was thoughtfully presented and maintained with very nice touches to make your stay comfortable. I would very confidently recommend staying to anyone, thank you for a fantastic experience 😊👍

We've stayed in High Beeches for 5 days and loved every minute of it. Ian and Alison are excellent hosts. Alison talked us towards very nice places. The room was fantastic with a beautiful view. Every morning English breakfast, sitting on the table with other guests from all around the world was very nice. Thank you Ian and Ali for making our stay in Bath very pleasant. We've felt ourselves very welcome and hope to come back one day. Best regards Marc and Anke.
It was a wonderful accommodation for me. When we arrived, the owners were traveling, and housekeeper said "your breakfast were served from 8:30 to 9:30". But the next day, owners came back home, and said "any time you want!" A room was comfortable, a shower booth was clean, and breakfast was delicious! And one more, owners have a lovely Golden Retriever! I'm a dog person, and the dog was well trained and has a good behavior! I had a relaxing time with him!!
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

Lodges were immaculate and perfect. The pub / restaurant needs some work. The food in the evening - although very good and tasty - took a very long time to be served and we didn't stay during peak times or high season. First round of drinks were forgotten about and needed us to remind them to serve them after waiting for 25 minutes for them. Breakfast was also not at all great. The Bacon was as hard as peanut brittle. We then decided to self cater for the remainder of our stay. If they can sort the kitchen and bar out, then it would have been perfect. 4 stars is for the lodges. Restaurant would have been a 2 star.
Following a beautiful, but sad funeral at Haycombe, we attended here for the wake. An idyllic setting. Tranquil, dragonflies everywhere and a river flowing past. The inside was modern and well maintained. Staff were pleasant and the food was great. Would love to go here again. A fitting farewell and I'm sure we will return to toast sweet memories.
